The Swieqi Chess Club Kids Rapids returned in February 2024, with two separate events for Under 12s and Under 18s respectively.
The Under 18s was held in the afternoon, and it is now being FIDE Rated.
This tournament is becoming always stronger and all players fought bravely, with a minimum of 1.5 points scored by each player.
Vince Kosik won the U/18 event with 4.5 points out of five games, followed by Leonardo Kang Di Benedetto (second) and by Yixi Li (third).
