On Saturday 12th August an Open Rapid was held at the Swieqi Chess Club. It was a full house with 46 players playing, including three > 2000 players fighting for top spots. Thanks to Peter Sammut Briffa and Ronald Sammut for acting in todays tournaments as arbiters, could not have managed without them, thank you both.
